Heya everyone,

In two week's time, the Fall MCM Expo [link] will be held at the Excel London from 28th-30th October; A handful of friends are planning to cosplay as DA: Origins and 2 characters, so we thought we'd cast the net to see if other Dragon Age Cosplayers would be interested for a meet-up and group photo session.

So far, we have:
Lady Varric
Rogue F!Aeducan
F!Cousland
F!Surana (unconfirmed)
Morrigan (unconfirmed)

So the more DA cosplayers, the merrier! So if you're headed to the Expo and would like to meet up, please contact our planner Edrissa through either this Swooping is Bad livejournal post [link] or her twitter account [link]

There are also tentative plans to do an outdoor shoot in costume, but anything concrete will be determined as the date nears.

For those who are not aware, this particular event is quite special as it features THREE Dragon Age 2-related guests, namely Gideon Emery (Fenris), Adam Howden (Anders), and Eve Myles (Merrill). Not an opportunity to be missed, I think!

a) What webcam model would you recommend for streaming at normal quality (say 400+ kbps on fibre-optics connection)?

b) What's a good set up for a clear view of the artwork-in-progress and optimum artist comfort & maneuverability?

Later at 9:30 this morning, RTM/TV1 will broadcast the 3rd episode of Saladin the Animated Series ([link]), "The Chalice of Isis". It's the first episode I worked on when I joined the pre-production team back in late-2006, so it's a pretty special one for me because of that occasion...and also being thrown head first into the longest sequence I've ever boarded D8(I was practically a novice back then, so it was like yeep!). Opening chase scene, you kicked my butt good!

Meanwhile, for English-speakers whose countries have yet to consider/obtain broadcasting rights for the show, you can find the first 2 eps on Youtube if you don't mind the video capture quality.

I'm wondering, since Malaysian Con Season is in December...would anyone be interested if I publish a full colour Convention Sketch Book with selections of my work from this year plus new unseen material (maybe throw in a Tutorial or two)? I would definitely make it available online for you worldwide folk if it's a go.

Never hurts to plan early!

Somehow, the first possible title that came to mind is "Ponies are a Princess' Weakness" for some weird reason
