A series of after work sketches I did a while ago depicting What-Ifs for Akiva Hawke with DA2 NPCs as non-canon love interests. Characters were suggested by Tumblr commenters.
Contains slash and mild NSFW for implied sensuality.

1) CULLEN
“I knew an Amell once, back in the Ferelden Circle.” The Knight-Lieutenant stepped closer, his expression dark and intimidating if not for the slight, telling shake in his voice,” He was a sly and silver-tongued scoundrel of a mage…just like you.”
Hawke smirked as he stood his ground, unwilling to back down even an inch from the templar.
“What can I say? We Amell boys have a way of getting under people’s skin…one way or another.”
2) AVELINE
Despite her initial surprise, Aveline found herself melting into Hawke’s hot, urgent lips. The sounds he was making…
…No.
She pulled away just as suddenly from the kiss, much to Hawke’s soft whine of protest.
“Why…why do you do this, Hawke?” Aveline demanded, her usual authoritative tone tempered with anger and confusion, “Why now?!”
“I could wait before…because I can’t ever hope to compete with a ghost,” Hawke said, his voice unwavering in his resolve to see this confession through,” But I will not stand by and lose you now to a mortal man.”
3) MEREDITH
Her breath hitched.
Meredith silently cursed at herself and the Champion, her steel blue eyes narrowed as his sly smirk welcomed her reaction.
“I’ll prove to you, Meredith,” Hawke said, his tone both enticing and defiant,”Not all mages are the self-serving bastards you believe them to be.”
“Lies…!” Meredith hissed back, though not entirely responding to his words alone,” …Ones I’ve heard uttered by your kind far too many times.”
“On the contrary,” Hawke’s grin widened roguishly as he descended from her view,” Some of us are…very eager to serve others.”
In the fleeting moments that followed, Meredith almost lets herself believe him.
4) SAEMUS
“I’m not Ashaad, Saemus.”
“I know. But he’s not here anymore. You are.”
5) VARRIC
“Well. This is…awkward.”
6) SEBASTIAN
“You don’t strike me as a devout man, Hawke.” Sebastian raised a brow quizzically, curious at the mage’s presence in the Chantry of late.
“Well, with the right motivation,” Hawke smiled, “People can surprise you.”
