Those two are good together! I remember the Young Jedi Knights books by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta, all fourteen of them, and Tenel Ka and Jacen Solo were pretty good characters. I liked Jaina and Lowbacca too.

Then brutally murdered his aunt in cold-blood and stood by at her funeral to falsely comfort her grieving husband and motherless son.

In cold blood? He did it only because she attacked him first, and he even tried to explain WHY he did it before she died.

As for the funeral, that was an obvious political thing because he still needed the jedi at that time.

In the end, however, he died to save both of them. Not to mention the anguish he felt the whole time he believed he would have to kill his daughter.
